400 SERIES BASECOAT PIGMENT BLENDS
Our 400 Basecoat Pigment Blends are a correctly blended basecoat system mix in with our #600 Flexible Basecoat. Designed as a “Ready-to-Spray” coating, this product can be sprayed with no additional products necessary. Match your color, strain, and apply the coating (Leather Dye). Basecoat systems do not need to be crosslinked for performance, however, they do need to be finished with a topcoat. Topcoats should always be crosslinked #611 or #612 Crosslinker.
Before applying this coating, make sure to stir the components very well. This is especially needed if they have not been stirred for a while. We consider it a good habit to occasionally flip these bottles over overnight to help loosen the sediments at the bottom. Our stir rods work great for breaking up the components from the bottom and mixing them in. Our aluminum stir rod is excellent for breaking up heavier sediments that the rubber-tipped ones may have trouble stirring up.

Get a color matched by selecting the color matching fee option as well as the amount you’d like (a minimum purchase of 8oz is required for a custom-matched color). Before making your purchase, please check to make sure that you have a completely opaque sample of the color you would like matched and that it is at least 2 cm. by 2cm. in length and width. If it is smaller or somewhat translucent we will not be able to properly match the color. Once you have your sample, mail it to us at to 9449 Brookpark Rd. Parma, Ohio, 44129. Unit B.
Be sure to include your name and contact details as well as the order information so we can properly match it to your order. After we have received the color sample it will take us 2-4 days to match the color.
