PURE DYE COLORANTS

Use the Pure Dyes in basecoats and other specialty coatings. Dye loading should be a maximum of 5%. When combining Dyes with “C” pigments, keep the combined colorant loading to 8%. Dyes are not recommended for use in automotive interiors due to their poor light fastness properties. 

The Dye Starter Kit comes with the 8 dyes listed below in 2 oz. containers.

Any coatings applied that contain dyes MUST be top coated with a clear crosslinked top coating.

557     Pure Dye – OCHRE YELLOW # 85

557     Pure Dye – ORANGE

557     Pure Dye – BRIGHT RED

557     Pure Dye – RED BROWN

557     Pure Dye – DARK BROWN
